Ramy Shafi

A close-cropped headshot portrait. Ramy Shafi has short, natural coily/textured black hair, a thin moustache, warm medium-brown skin tone, and a broad, bright smile showing his teeth. He is looking slightly to the right of camera. He wears a white or off-white top, and a thin gold/delicate chain necklace is just visible at the base of the frame. The background is plain pale grey/lavender-white. Shot is cropped from roughly the upper chest/collar upward — primarily a face and head portrait.

A Brooklyn-based stand-up comedian who has been making serious inroads on the New York comedy circuit. He has performed at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre, one of New York's most respected comedy venues and works as Associate Producer on Subway Takes, the viral interview series that has featured guests including Cate Blanchett, Charli XCX, and Hasan Minhaj, and been named one of PEOPLE's 100 Reasons to Love America.

His comedy is sharp, well-crafted, and born from genuine observation, the kind of stand-up that improves every time he takes the stage. He is now bringing that New York energy to London.
