Hector Ayala
One of the few Latino voices in the English-speaking European circuit, Héctor Ayala has established himself as a household name in the Barcelona comedy scene, and has started to gain notoriety in other European countries and Mexico due to his natural talent to connect with a crowd and his highly energetic and charismatic storytelling.
As part of his growing career in comedy, Héctor has opened for Michelle Wolf and rising star Kyla Cobbler at her sold-out show at the Olympia Theater in Dublin, and has shared lineups with internationally known comedians such as Russell Howard, Gianmarco Soresi, Louis C.K., and European rising stars Victor Patrascan and Mike Rice, among others. Aside from regularly hosting and headlining Barcelona's best comedy showcases, Héctor has performed in major European comedy scenes including Belfast, Dublin, London, Amsterdam, Berlin, Vienna, and Edinburgh, and has featured in comedy showcases across Mexico, Belgium, Switzerland, and Romania.
His debut solo show "Make a Mexican Great Again" has sold out five times in Barcelona and has also been performed in Dublin and Bucharest. His milestones include a full Edinburgh Fringe 2022 run with the split-hour show Brexico alongside Andy Casper, a feature act at the first edition of Comedia Latina at the Mad Goat Festival in Antwerp (2025), finalist of the TV reality show Stand-Up Revolution in Romania (2022), and support act in Spanish for LatAm stars La Cotorrisa, Damitas Histeria, Paul el Alemán, and Hablando Huevadas.
