Russell Hicks

An American comedian based in London with a credit list that spans feature films, Prime Video, Channel 4, ITV, and the Hollywood comedy circuit. He appeared in Edgar Wright's The Running Man (2025) and Amazon MGM's Maintenance Required, starred as Coach Hughes in the Prime Video series Lovestruck High (narrated by Lindsay Lohan), wrote for and starred in two episodes of ITV's Stand Up Sketch Show (Series 5, 2023), and won Channel 4's Captive Audience competition with a fully improvised stand-up set. He is also the voice of Sky Comedy and Great Big Story, and has entertained studio audiences at Have I Got News For You, The Last Leg, and As Yet Untitled.

On the live circuit, he headlines at every major UK comedy venue including the Glee Club, Hot Water Comedy Club, The Stand, and Up the Creek, holds a monthly residency at Top Secret Comedy Club in London, and has compèred the Leeds and Reading Festivals. He has performed at The Comedy Store, The Improv, and The Laugh Factory in Hollywood, and has supported Axel Blake (Britain's Got Talent winner), Simon Brodkin, and Al Murray. His improvisation work earned him Leicester Comedy Festival nominations for Best Improv in 2017 and 2023 and Best Show in 2022. He won the Prague Fringe Festival 2024. He was endorsed as a Global Talent by Arts Council England in 2022.

The Comedian's Comedian called him "a risk-taking ball of fire" and The List said "masterful crowd work." Broadway Baby added "a sharp wit and cutthroat style." His "Dear Diary" Instagram series has amassed millions of views.
