Oliver Moore
A finalist in the Chortle Student Comedy Award 2024, one of the UK's most prestigious new comedian competitions, whose alumni include Joe Lycett, Jamali Maddix, Phil Wang, Ed Gamble, Simon Bird, Chris Ramsey, Iain Stirling, and Richard Gadd. The 2024 final was held at Pleasance One during the Edinburgh Fringe, hosted by Mark Watson. Of his performance, Chortle editor Steve Bennett wrote that he is "something of an idiot savant, concealing truths in his winningly daffy persona."
He performs stand-up across London and the UK at venues including Angel Comedy, Downstairs at the King's Head, Covent Garden Comedy Club, Hot Water Comedy Club, and Big Belly Comedy Club. He has won gong shows across the country and was runner-up at the Hoots Fringe Act of the Year competition in 2023.
His comedy is built around a deliberately daffy, self-deprecating persona that turns out to have considerably more going on underneath it than the surface suggests.
