Lulu Popplewell

Comedian Lulu Popplewell in a professional studio headshot, smiling and holding a small curly sandy-coloured dog. Blue denim baseball cap, cream sweatshirt, gold hoop earrings. Vivid turquoise studio backdrop.

A London comedian, confessional oversharer, and the woman who delivered the cue cards in Love Actually (2003) as a child. That last credit has followed her around in interesting ways, most notably in a Daily Mail pile-on that became the basis of her sold-out 2023 Edinburgh Fringe debut "Actually, Actually" at the Pleasance Courtyard. She has been performing stand-up since 2016.

She was a finalist in both the Leicester Square New Comedian of the Year and the Chortle Student Comedy Award, and Chortle described her 2023 show as "upbeat, fun, honest,a good survivor story." She is also a confessional oversharer with a fit dog, which she brings into her shows and her headshots.
