Lou Sanders

Lou Sanders is an English stand-up comedian, writer, and actress celebrated for her uniquely witty and distinctive style. Before launching her career in comedy, she worked in administrative roles and took comedy classes, which led to her writing a comedic blog. Her journey as a live performer has since taken her to stages across the UK and around the world, earning her a reputation for bold and unpredictable sets.

As a live performer, Sanders performs regularly both in the UK and around the world. In 2018, her show Shame Pig was the joint winner of the Comedians' Choice Award for Best Show at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe. Sanders is also an accomplished writer, having written for shows like Mock the Week and Miranda Hart. She wrote and starred in the short film Elderflower, and in 2023, released her autobiography What's That Lady Doing?.
