Dr Kat Baker

Comedian Kat Baker in an informal portrait headshot. Dark brown hair with reddish ends and curtain fringe, blue-grey eyes, warm slight smile. Black fitted t-shirt, tattoos on both forearms. White fabric backdrop.

A London comedian with a PhD in a mental health-related field and a career pivot that has taken her somewhere significantly more entertaining. Known online as Dr Kat Baker, she built a following of over 200,000 on TikTok and 127,000 on Instagram with raunchy, confessional sketches about sex, dating, and the very specific absurdities of modern life, accumulating what she describes as hundreds of millions of views in the process. The comedy is candid, occasionally outrageous, and grounded in the kind of frank self-awareness that comes from someone who has genuinely thought about human behaviour for a living.

She is the creator and host of The Kat Baker Show, a comedy podcast that has taken her from Spotify and Apple Podcasts to a live show at Big Belly Comedy Club, one of London's largest purpose-built comedy venues. Past guests include comedians Bobby Mair, Freddy Quinne, Elliot Steel, Tom Ward, Eshaan Akbar, and Michelle Shaughnessy, alongside an eclectic range of guests from the adult entertainment world who arrive with stories that polite society has not quite worked out how to process yet. The conversations are unfiltered, frequently hilarious, and reliably explicit.

Her stand-up brings the same energy to the stage: confessional, sharp, and considerably more depraved than her qualifications might suggest.
