Dante Nero

Dante Nero is an American stand-up comedian whose comedic sensibilities and ability to make others laugh have guided his life from a very young age. Inspired by his father's comedy records featuring legends like Richard Pryor and Redd Foxx, Nero developed a razor-sharp wit early on. While his knack for humor was always present, it wasn't until the year 2000 that he began performing stand-up comedy himself, dedicating himself to honing his skills at local comedy clubs to become the performer he is today. He has been described as bold, philosophical, honest, and "Funny as Hell," and you can find him performing stand-up comedy all over the United States and abroad.

Nero's career expanded into a new medium in 2006 when his comedy mentor, Patrice O'Neal, invited him to co-host a radio show on Sirius XM. Drawing on his unique perspective from his eleven-year experience as a male stripper, he co-hosted The Black Philip Show, a raw, honest, and pragmatic show that offered relationship advice from a masculine perspective. Although the show was short-lived, it quickly developed a cult following on the internet. Following Patrice O'Neal's death in 2011, and urged by fans, Nero brought the show back as a podcast, renaming it "The Beige Philip Show, presents Man School" and later "Manschool 202."

"Man School 202" emerged as a modern-day "Dear Abby" with a constantly growing listenership, at one point ranking number 15 on iTunes. The show became known for its advanced instructional elements, expanding its advice to women as well, and was met with a flood of email questions. Dante's comedic talent and philosophical insights make for a guaranteed unforgettable experience. His powerful and fearless style is a prime example of the kind of unconventional entertainment audiences across London seek out.
